Since I finished this project about a month before I started building this new website, I unfortunately won't be able to give live insight on how I completed it.

I had the thought one day of making a tool using Python that gathers data from an API and thought of using OpenWeatherMap. I thought of making a very simplistic weather app, since many weather apps online tend to bombard you with options. Although this app doesn't have many options besides temperature and location, it's what I intended for it.

I never used Flask before this project, so it was quite a journey. I looked at many Flask examples online to get a feel of how I would build Aeris. It was a great learning process utilizing Flask and setting up the server through AWS EC2 and getting it onto my CloudFlare domain.
